It's been another 3 months for Spencer and a whole year for Addison! We got together to capture more milestone photos for this fun family. Spencer is at such an expressive age. Six month milestone sessions are always a ton or fun. Baby is totally engaged with me and the camera. They love to smile and showing off their little personalities. The advantage of this age is that they typically aren't mobile quite yet, making for easy creativity on my part! 

Big sister on the other hand was FULL of personality. Addison turned three this week. She's no longer a toddler, but not quite a kid. This session shows all of the fidgety, expressive innocence that defines three. It is a transitional age where little ones are maturing and learning to be more independent. There is no better way to watch this transition than to observe the relationship that a child has with his/her "lovie," "woobie," "blankey," etc. It's probably the last year that they will be allowed to or will want to have that security and so I always invite whatever it may be along for the session! There is a level of innocence that a security blanket shows in a child that I think is such a fun way to capture the age.
