One of the highlights of my busy fall season was the debut of this little peanut. Mommy and Daddy's prayers for an addition to their family were answered just a few months after my own baby was born and with a joyous heart and tear-filled eyes I photographed their almost full term pregnancy and little Ian's newborn photos at their home. To say that this family is photogenic is an understatement and made my work very easy and spirited. 

This session represents what I hope to bring to all of my new 2014 families. With the introduction of my mini maternity sessions, all birth and newborn clients will have the opportunity to complete their baby stories with Katie Hall Photography. It's a simple add-on to a series and a wonderful ice breaker for creating a relationship between me and any new clients. A mini maternity session is to a baby story what an engagement session is to a wedding. I love having the time and making the effort to do a little bit of traditional portraiture alongside my tremendously emotional lifestyle work. Capturing a new family in these tender moments is so very special.
