After a gorgeous maternity session just a few weeks ago, baby Brayden made his debut right on schedule. He was less than 72 hours old at his session and I can't tell you how exciting it was. He is the newest baby I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. Typically newborn sessions are done somewhere between 4-10 days after birth (I normally average 7-10). The longer you wait the more alert and comfortable being out of the womb they become, which can prevent some of the more sleepy and cuddled posing opportunities. I've come to realize that this happens a bit quicker for larger babies, whereas little peanuts are more prone to enjoying more sleep and being swaddled longer. With Brayden almost hitting the 8 pound mark, this was a perfect time to do his session. However, each baby's personality is so different as well, but this little guy fussed very minimally and his parents were very prepared and patient. Thanks so much Whitney & Bryan for inviting me to capture Brayden's first photos. Congratulations!!!
